  • An early concept for the pod as a purely human technology item. Ultimately it was decided to make the pod of alien design.
  • After much development this is the final concept for the pod and its launch chamber.
  • A second machine constructed in secret is revealed off the coast of Japan, built on large semi-submersible platforms. This was the final concept.
  • When the machine is activated, the Command Ship is pulled towards the wormhole at the core of the machine.
